To further strengthen our business, we are currently looking for a Full Stack Engineer to make sure we can support the growth of the company and the ever-changing needs of the Electric Vehicle market. As a Full Stack Engineer you will be part of the driver platform team, based at our Amsterdam headquarters.

WHAT YOU’LL BE IN CHARGE OF

As a Full Stack Engineer, you help our business to translate (technical) requirements from users and business stakeholders into functional specifications and designs within the business platform. With the other engineers in your team, you are responsible for your own domain.

The driver application makes sure that our customers can easily locate and use charge points. The team consists of a PO, QA, UX designer and engineers. Together you are responsible for expanding the driver application to match our fast growth. Working for this team means having an open mind, taking initiative and collaborating with your teammates to find the best solutions.

THIS IS HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Design, build and maintain services in React Native applications

  • Write code with security, resiliency and performance in mind

  • Help make architecture and design decisions together with the team

  • Make sure our customers are happy with the driver application

  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

  • Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization

  • Work in collaboration with your team members: engineers, QA, UX and Product Manager

  • Work in an Agile team using Jira, Bitbucket and Scrum

THIS IS WHO YOU ARE

  • Significant experience with Node JS, developing RESTful APIs

  • Significant experience with React Native

  • Self-starter that takes initiative

  • Naturally take responsibility beyond your role on paper

  • Easy-going personality (relationship builder) with strong sense of teamwork

  • Passionate about the work that you do

  • Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications and environments

  • Able to clearly explain the pros and cons of key development decisions

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
